An evening to meet the author, Eva Stachniak, was organized for April 25, 2014 on the launch of her new book Empress of the Night. It was held at St. Michael’s College at the University of Toronto and during the evening members of the Council for the Support of Polish Studies sold copies of the book. Eva Stachniak very generously donated proceeds from the sale to support the Polish Language and Literature program.
